Nicole was born in Johannesburg, but grew up in Cape Town. Due to her European heritage, having an English mother and a Dutch father, her travel focus since an early age has been Europe. However in recent years her focus has shifted to her own country and she has taken every opportunity she can to drive along the Garden Route, enjoy game drives in the Kruger Park as well as visit the lesser travelled neighbouring country of Swaziland. She has gained experience dealing with clients as a customer care officer/administrator assistant while studying Marketing Management. After her final exams her path brought her to Elefant-Tours beginning of 2014 and she has since become an important part of the team.
