Desert Camp



The Desert Camp is situated near Sesriem in southern Namibia and just 10 km from the entrance gate to Sossusvlei and the Namib Naukluft Park. The the upmarket Sossusvlei Lodge is located 4 km away.


The Desert Camp’s 20 tents are set between ancient thorn trees and have a 360º view over the arid landscape of the Namib Naukluft Park and the surrounding mountains.


The Desert Camp has a reception, swimming pool and bar but no restaurant. Guests can pre-order meal packs consisting of meats and salads to be cooked in their tents. The nearby Sossusvlei Lodge has a restaurant and serves breakfast and lunch. Groups can use the communal bomas and catering can be arranged.


There are 20 luxury safari tents set under a canvas canopy, with twin beds, a stone floor and en-suite bathroom. Each tent is has a fully equipped kitchenette and a barbeque area. There are two wheel-chair friendly tents.
