Hello Elefant-Tours team

We’re back and I would like to give some feedback about our holiday.

Everything was world-class, excellent local contacts and a fantastic team from the main guide to the porters. Including a wedding proposal to my girlfriend at 5 895 m. What more could you ask for? (She said yes!)

If you have a guest book or Facebook account for Elephant Tours, I would like to post some positive messages and photos.

See you soon, kind regards.

PS All five members of our group made it!

Hello Elefant-Tours team

I would like to wish you a happy new year and wanted to give some feedback from our wonderful holiday in Tanzania. It was fantastic! Everything from the accommodation transfer to the hot-air balloon ride was close to perfect. We had a friendly driver who spoke very good English. The mixture of lodges were so beautifully put together and in the Tarangire National Park there were lots of animals, many elephants and giraffes.

Although there was little going on in Lake Manyara Park, we had a very interesting 3-hour walk through the village and banana plantations with a local guide. This was arranged by our driver at our request. We wanted to stretch our legs a little. The Ngorongoro Serena Lodge was for us personally a little too large, but the view was terrific. Instead we felt very comfortable in the Kati kati Camp, right in the middle of Mother Nature. Too bad that relatively few animals in the Serengeti were migrating, but that was probably due to the time of year.

During the hot-air balloon ride we saw almost nothing, but it was still sensational, also the breakfast afterwards. The driver had organised it wonderfully and my husband suspected nothing until he saw the hot-air balloon on the ground. The flight to Zanzibar was like a little fly-in safari. We took off and landed 4 times from Lake Manyara, Arusha, Tanga and then Zanzibar. A nice extra treat and a good suggestion from you not to travel by car.

The Tembo Hotel was dominated by renovation work. Everything was pretty dusty, from blankets to the breakfast table, although the view from the balcony was superb. The atmosphere in Stone Town was nevertheless good. A pity that money is so scarce for further restoration work in the old part of town.

The Breezes was very nice, extremely comfortable and very tastefully decorated. Ocean Paradise also had a beautiful setting, but was too large and too ‘package-holiday‘ for us. Fortunately it wasn´t more than one-third occupied… The best of all was in Ras Nungwi. This really is a little paradise, you will hardly expect it from it`s approach road. We had a massive power cut over longer periods of time for 3 out of 4 evenings, but with such tasty food you can forgive all that. The diving was great and the diving school at Ras Nungwi is highly recommendable.

On the return flight we had such great views, we even saw the Kilimanjaro – a nice farewell.

Unfortunately even the most beautiful holiday comes to an end, although with so much variety, it felt like we were travelling for six weeks.

Again, thank you very much for the perfect planning.

Greetings from Baden-Baden

Hello

Thank you putting together an excellent holiday and support until our trip started. Indeed, I didn`t have to worry about anything, because Elefant Tours had already organised everything.

I will gladly use you again on any occasion!

Dear Elefant Tours team

We would like to thank you for a perfectly planned family safari in Tanzania followed by a beach holiday in Zanzibar. Our guides / drivers were extremely friendly and very informative. Each lodge exceeded our expectations. The program you compiled was suitable for the whole family.
Overall speaking, the trip was a complete success and an unforgettable experience for the whole family.

Gladly anytime in the future!
