Kalahari Bush Breaks is set on a 4 000 ha farm 85 km east of Gobabis on the Trans-Kalahari Highway. This is the main road from Windhoek to Maun. Kalahari Bush Breaks is located about 40 km from the border post and 250 km from Windhoek.
This farm guesthouse is surrounded by green lawns set in savanna landscape and offers accommodation in the main building and two chalets. The main space is a semi-open thatch area which includes a restaurant, bar and pool. Two campsites are available.
The three-level lodge and two chalets can accommodate 16 guests. A central thatched area that opens up to the garden has a lounge with fireplace, a restaurant serving excellent meats and a bar. The restaurant can be booked by guests staying at the camping sites. Décor is rustic and natural building materials including tree trunks were used. There is a pool in the garden shaded by thorn trees. Near the garden is a waterhole, where wildlife and birds gather.
There are eight rooms, six in the main house and two in chalets. Only two have double beds. All rooms have private bathrooms and the chalets have small verandas overlooking the floodlit waterhole.
